**** Meeting ****
December 18 @ 4:00
p.m.
Berryhill Administrative Complex
e
on Time I am getting reports that
officials are arriving late. Please take on the responsibility to know
that when you?re late you cause problems and worried for: the other
officials. The Coaches, School Administration, and me !!!
- Be Professional, I got a
couple of good reports on us as a group of being very Professional, but
also got a couple of us not. We have a good thing going here, let?s not
mess it up, especially by being unprofessional. There is no excuse for
that!!
- Hustle and work hard, you do
not know how much it means to a coach, fans, and administrators to see
a crew of officials that are hustling and giving at least the impression
that they are actually working hard to give them a good game. They may
not always seem to feel that way (hence fussing complaining about
things) but it you giving them a good game by: (Being Professional,
Hustling, and Working Hard) they know it.
-
Please keep the before game, after games, half times talks to a
very minimal with fans, coaches, administration. I know it is hard
sometimes not to say a few words, but remember how it looks to the
opposing team if they see you
conversating with fans, coaches, and or administrators. I know
sometimes you need to say a few words to a coach and or an
administration before, during or after games, but keep it to a minimum
and be professional in your conversation. This is not to say we will not
listen to a coach during a game. Remember let them know you hear what
they say, most coaches just wants to know they can talk to you some.
- Game importance. All games
are important. The coach, player, parent, and fan of that 9thgrade
girls game thinks their game is just as important as the Varsity game
is. It is and treat it that way !!!!
